Corner Pocket Capital is a real estate investment firm that focuses on value-add and generational multifamily & hotel properties in select markets. The founders needed a brand identity that reflected the firm’s unique personality and approach. Their brand needed to convey the reliability and professionalism of a traditional firm with a more modern and approachable look and feel.
I worked closely with Corner Pocket Capital to design a brand identity that captures the firm’s lively and adventurous personality. The challenge was developing a visual identity that incorporates the unique brand name, Corner Pocket, which refers to the perfect cache of powder snow or glassy water sought after by skiers and surfers, and real estate principles.
The resulting logo weaves the initials CPC into a location marker and communicates the underlying principle of both the brand name and industry—location, location, location. Much like with outdoor adventuring, real estate is about identifying those sweet spots for opportunity and proceeding with skill and expertise for big returns. The accompanying color palette and typography is simple, bold, and warm.
